I finally bought a camper. A very slightly used Big Foot. Now, I need tie downs, and I guess an extended bumper. Any suggestions on where to get the work done on the Eastside or Northend? And and suggestions as to type of tie down system?

Best ones I have seen were made by tork-lift (or torq-lift, I forget the spelling), I know that they aren't cheap though. I have seen their extended hitch too, and it is a very sturdy looking unit.

If you plan on taking your camper into Canada check with their requirements for camper tie downs. I beleive they differ from the States. It would suck to get turned back at the border for not meeting their safety standards.

Mann's Eastside Welding in Bellevue is great for this type of work.

Torque-lift is the way to go.

Hey Dave I also just put some air bags on my 3500 and it was a snap. Less than an hour install. Levels the truck right out with that 4000lb camper in the back.

Dave, Tork lift is the way to go. I just had them put them on my F-350. I had the box mounted ones but these are alot better. They are located in Kent.

Thanks,

Kevin
