I've been looking for a pair of sunglasses that I can wear over my prescription glasses, but cannot find any that are the right size or shape for my small oval glasses which measure about 5" x 1". Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can find a pair and also other brands of fitover sunglasses.

Presciption sunglasses are out of the question as I do not have the money to splurge nor do I wish to have to replace the lenses every few years.

I bought my cheapy ones at Fred Meyer. The polarized ones used to be halfway decent but now they're the same as normal sunglasses. Not sure what happened. Must have decided to save themselves some money.

They're near the Watch counter at Fred Meyer. Rite Aid used to carry them. Not sure if they still do or not.

Spose if you wanted to spend some bucks GI Joes or Sportco might have some better ones.

I just bought a pair of Cocoons polarized fitovers from Cabelas for about $40 bucks. They came in the mail today. I have small frames (5 1/4 inch wide), and the Cocoons come in 3 different sizes, and lens colors of gray, amber, or yellow. I bought the "medium" size, which fit perfectly.

They are comfortable--I just hope I can spot fish with them.

Their smallest size or medium should fit you just fine. Do a search for Cocoons sunglasses on Google, and you'll find other vendors besides Cabelas. Some of them even offer free shipping. The price is generally around 40 bucks from everyone.
