I'm chompin at the bit to go fishing for springers, but i dont have the time to make the trip to Forks. I live in Mt lake terrace and would like to find somewhere within a 2 hour drive or so. Im fishing from the bank and i pretty much have the worst luck at it, so no fears of me wiping out the fishery...lol...just wanna get away from the phones and chill. Any suggestions? Also...I wouldnt mind having a fishing buddy too! I'm nornmal except for the eye twitch and the 6 fingers. No Fears! Thanks in advance! Jim

Try the Sky around and just below the Wallace River. I think shrimp and/or eggs and spin-n-glows work pretty well.

Try the Cowlitz. Its probably closer to 3 hours depending on traffic from where your at. A buddy of mine couldnt stand it any longer and made the treck down last week and came back with a 20# Springer. The Lewis and Kalama are in that area too. Take a long weekend and have fun...Thinkin of doing it myself in the next couple weeks.

June 1 seems soooo far away
