A few days ago I get a call from a lady in Olympia about a Salmon Card I turned in 2001. Yes, I said 2001. She couldnt tell is I marked S for silver for D for chum. Anyways, that got me thinking. If their still counting cards for 2001, what are the numbers there putting out now?? Are they bogus!!!! She stated she has made hundreds of call trying to get accurate numbers.

Only recently did the WDFW post the steelhead catch statistics, for the 2001-early 2002 season, on their website. So, I am not surprised that they are still reviewing salmon statistics for 2001.
