Has anyone notices the huge minus tides we are having this year?

Today is -3.1, tomorrow is -3.3.

But that's nothing compared to June 4th.
MINUS 4.1

July 2nd: -4.1...3rd: -4.0

I don't recall ever seeing tides this low.

It would be a time to be on the beach, even if you're not harvesting anything (like geoduck).

Maybe collect some artifacts?

Hadn't noticed, but thanks for the headsup. It might be a good time to take the kids to the beach.

Actually there was an article about it sometime back saying they would be the lowest tides in a long time. The jist of that article was that there would be clam beds showing that haven't been touched in years. I sure the hell will make sure I'm not trying to get up the ramp in Everett at that time. You'd be pulling out in the mud.

Dug Razors for the very first time today.... \:\) Got my 15 ...Sorry..no pictures...i had lots of fun...and can't wait for Spring Chinook and fried Razors for dinner tomorrow...Hmmmm, maybe a pic of that \:D I bought my own clam gun and bag for my next trip while i was down in Astoria. You don't have to be a surf perch to find them...they were "showing" pretty high. Have fun and watch that wave :p
