Hit the"mighty" cow from Barrier Tuesday and although I knew it would be interesting with the 3K flows it was more exciting than I hoped for.No damage but be careful if your headin down there. Those boulders really are the size of VW's s.Needless to say the fishing was dead. How would the depth increase with a 5K or 6K flow Anyway be careful with the low flow

Low flows mean more rocks to manuever your boat around.

Ok I'll try to explain more.First of all I'm not a Cow regular(hate crowds) but when the water drops the springers tend to go off the bite.As far as boating the boulders are 6 to 12 inches below the surface.I know a few I would guess guides went for it downstream but myself and others chose not to.My point is the fishing will suck until they raise the flows and be careful if you take a boat there.Once again I'm no Cow expert and yes there are tons of smolts in the area
