I have a 1954 (?) Penn Senator 113-4/0 Game Fish Reel...It is still in the original plastic package (never been used) and box. Came with complete Catalog and instruction manual and repair parts list. Also, tools and oil tube enclosed along with warranty.
Any idea how much this is worth?

The book I have lists large penn senators at 25-65 dollars I would check with other sources to find a true value whats worthless to one is like gold to another when it comes to reels.

not sure about those smaller senators(like 112, 113, 114) because they still make them. now, a big guy like a 117 or 118 like the one in the movie jaws tends to fetch a lot of money because they haven't been made in quite a while

it's only worth as much as someone is willing to spend on it.

ebay has pretty much killed the values in those books. The books have a vested interest in driving the price up so they usually show on the high side.

Like I said it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, so do a search on ebay for completed items and if any closed in the last month it will pop up.
