I heard you need to bring your own rock to fish down there but for a good report call Frank with Fish Country @ 360-985-2090. They've always given me good reports and if the fish aren't in they'll tell you so. I just make sure that if I fish the cowlitz I stop in their store and buy something.

Was dead saturday I seen only one hook up.
Fish are wise to almost everything.
Not the run they forcasted.

The hatchery has recieved 3,500+ springers, they just arn't biting.

fished their saturday morning hooked one and landed. 12# springer. Heard they were getting 1100 springers a week into the fish ladder a week. Fished hard with egg's and no weight to get one fish. did not se another fish on. Maybe just lucky. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.
