I thought that the Hoh was open for Springers on the 15th, but I see no reports or posts about the opening. Does anyone have any info that would help me decide if a trek down to forks this week would be worth the time. Thanks in advance..

Try looking near south tacoma way or seatac...... \:D
Seriously though, I fished it on the opener last year and couldn't stay away from the downriver fish.... We hooked a bunch of old metal but that's it. Saw a few roll in the tidewater near the mouth but the numbers just weren't there. Not sure how it traditionally fishes this time a year but I've had decent luck there later in the summer..... Sorry couldn't help but I doubt it'd be worth the drive with all the springers available in the southwest portion of the state.... Though the hoh is a nice breath of fresh air every once and a while.

SLOW

We fished it on the opener. Lots of boats and only heard of a couple of springers.
