I went out digging a couple of weeks ago at Dosewalips. Ended up getting three of these guys. Looks like we have got some good clamming tides over the next couple of months - watch your tide tables.

Is there anywhere on planet earth (well the NW) where a guy can still buy geoducks? Use to be able to, but then all of a sudden I could never find them again. ?? Anyone know the answers?

There are a lot of places you can purchase them if you don't mind supporting tribal and non-tribal commercial fisherman why not dig your own?

I know of a several Chinese Restaurants that sell live Geoducks in the Portland/Vancouver area, or at least they did a year ago. I do not know where they got them, but they keep them live in big tanks. The one I am almost sure still sells them is called the Legin, in Portland.

My wife took one look at those and said " i'll never eat another clam again"
