I'm currently in the process of developing a bean-dip scent as you should be able to guess it emits some sound and a gas trail (biodegradable of course) for added attraction after a little more testing I should have some available for those of you who would like to try it. \:D

Hey Cowden!

Quit shouting at us! (use of caps)

You better share next time we go fishing. If they are selling, its probably missing that one "special" ingredient or its watered down. I guess time will tell.

Someone from the Carrot crew is online most of the time at http://www.ifish.net

I bet you could get some info there too.

I don't have a haz-mat card so you can rest assured I haven't been under the seat in your dump truck \:D

Yeah, just go to their website! Zaq is the guy primarily doing the selling right now.. The scent kills fish, and doesn't even stink too bad on the hands \:\) I bought two bottles and have been very pleased- these guys are great to work with! Tight lines, FC.

The carrot milk stuff sounds interesting but I'm skeptical. I'm sure it ain't snake oil, but does anyone know what's in the stuff?

Most manufacturers/sellers of bait oils provide some indication of the contents. Even Pro-Cure provides a label - e.g., herring oil, shrimp, anise, salmon egg, sardine, etc.

I suspect Carrot Milk is not made from carrots nor milk. Which begs the question of what's in it. I'm not asking for a list of ingreidents, but some indication of the contents would be nice. For example, "Carrot Milk is made from a combination of fish, shrimp, and other natural oils."

Perhaps I should post this on the IFish BB.

Coho- I wouldn't suggest bringing it up on Ifish. As you may or may not know, some serious house cleaning is going on over there, and this non-sponsor scent is a huge issue. I asked Zaq this very question because while rotating scents I wanted to have some idea of what its contents were- shrimp with anise is what he said it was closest to. If a scent works though, who cares what's in it! Tight lines, FC.

What does that mean? Are they advertising on Ifish without paying?

I saw Jennie's note on the State of the IFish BB. They seem to have some serious problems with civility. I'm optimistic that instilling some accountability amongst the membership will cure the problem. Big Bob seems to have addressed most of those concerns here . The problem with IFish is that Jennie is too nice of a gal. She needs to smack a few folks into line. Or better yet, close out their threads and toss'em out. IFish certainly doesn't lack members or issues to discuss.

I hadn't heard of the Carrot Milk issue. Clearly, if the Carrot Milk folks are taking advantage of the publicity on IFish to peddle their product, they would do well to help support the BB (i.e., sponsor). As such, I will take your advice and not mention this issue.

But if Carrot Milk is made from shrimp/anise oil, it's likely a worthwhile product. Thanks.
