After delaying our springer play fishing at home while I was on project DB trailer before we left. Corey and I finally got a chance to go wet a line ourselves!

MMMmmm, springer ... Kasilof style!

And while finding one for my most VIP client was most important ... I even got to get a shot at one too. Corey took over the oars and slid the net under this one for me \:\) Thanks!

Things get underway for us in earnest tomorrow, look for lots of AK pix coming soon on the reports page and we'll be sure to post a few here as well \:\)

Get that anchor ready FP! The river is almost as high as it is at the end of June. No overland express needed at Grassy Bank ... already have water flowing into at the top so you can just pull up and through for your laps!

Nice fishies Bob And Corey. Now I know there they are living...I recognize those spots.

Let her rage, I'm not going to have to row it anymore. ;\)

But look for me in a hole just downriver from you very soon.

Whats with the river height? Rain or melt?

See ya's soon. Save a few for me, please!!!

Why do the girls always seem to catch the bigger fish on these kinds of trip?

fNp ... it's always the case when you put gals on my boat on the Ditch. Look what happens when you do it in July \:\)

I remember ya Steve ... hope things are going well up there! You might have seen the post regarding the EO for hatchery fish on the Ninilchik River. That's a good option if you like the smaller streams. Ditch fishing has picked up quite nicely too ... should be able to do just fine there from the bank as well or I have a few single seats open here or there over the next 10 days if you want a ride in the "barge" ;\)
