We had not been crabbing for more than 20 years. Thanks to all the good info shared by P.P. posters we did great.

We just had the kids and grandkid over for a crab feast. Talk about great stuff - crabs, oysters, clams. - we live in a great place.

Thanks to all who shared info.

You look like the crab-general preparing your crab-army for the assault.

Are you cooking them whole?

SQ: Yes I cook them whole. I can't bring myself to eat the crab butter, but I sure like the flavor better when cooked whole.

I have had them several times when they were cleaned before cooking. They taste bland to me that way.

Nice going Dave..great looking crab....We didn't do so well but still got enough and lots of clams....I heard that the Skoks in the canal were harvesting 44,500 lbs of crab per day during the first 4 days of the sports season and selling them at the public launch over there near the HC bridge....I makes for a great day on the water when you can get a variety of our local seafood...we missed out on the oysters becuase the kids were having too much fun digging clams.

I hope your wife is getting into this stuff now...

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.
