Was it just me, or was it a bit slow out at the bubble today? I was there at 4:30 high tide did some jigging, then trolled around with the downriggers. Nada, zilch, bupkiss!!!!!
Heard some guy whoop it up a bit and fishing buddy said he saw silver in the net..

Hope it gets better in the coming weeks..

Not just you... I got there at 5, trolled till noon. One definite strike, one "maybe". One abandoned crab trap tangled in downrigger ball.

I snagged that trap early this morning and also had a nice big jellyfish. Trolled the north end from 3:15 am till about 6:30 am or so. I only heard of 1 fish caught today but I'm sure there were a few others. I marked fish hugging the bottom but never got a strike. I targeted crabs when the crowd got a lil too thick. I might try the evening incoming tide tomorrow till dark.

I spoke with a few others at the ramp. I trolled at several different depths, but it stiill turned up 0. It was slow and not many fish being marked.

We were out there FRi. at dawn till about 10:30. Talked to 3 boats with one fish each and one charter with 2.

Nada for us and we threw everything down there from 40' to 140'. Inside, outside.

I think it's alot of luck this early, but ya gotta be there to get lucky.

I'm trying to locate a 6' flasher and a 3' hootchie cause obviously the fish can't see my gear!

Got a cell call from a bud who hit a cookie cutter this morning so there are fish there. Just not near my boat.

Fished the Bubble from 9 to 2 on Friday. Finally switched from Herring to Coho Killer at noon and picked up a nice one on the bottom in 115 ft. near the can.

I fished on Saturday morning, nothing, only heard one guy whooping it up waaaaay outside. Heard a rumor the indians did a seine last week for their "first salmon ceremony" and one of the fish was a 54 pounder.

Fished the bubble last Saturday during the Noon tide change. Fished for about 5 or 6 hours with no fish. Just before I needed to pull up and head home, around 3:30 this guy hit! My fish was the only one that I saw caught. It's amazing how one fish can change your perspective on "how the fishing is."
