Has anybody used one of these things? It looks like a car antena on a platform and on TV it rips the bones right out of the fish. Anyone actually own one of these things? Do they work?

I'm not mentioning the product name because I tried this post on another BB and the mods removed it because the product has a funny name and I guess the mods were worried that someone would make a joke....heavens forbid. Anyway I'm not trying to start a joke thread I just want to know if this thing works. Many thanks

Actually you don't want to debone fish. Sure, fellet the fish then trim of the ribs and membrane, but you don't want to take the small bones along the back out. When you take these bones out of an uncooked fish, it actually tears the fleash. Some people just take pliers and pull them out but often flesh comes with it. Just remove the bones as you eat, unless you really have to then just use needle-nosed pliers.
