Does anyone on here make their own spoons or paint their own? I have some that I have made and a few that i need to touch up.
What do you reccomend for paints, do you add glow paint.
Thanks for the help.

I'm going to let out a potential killer spoon paint........I haven't tried it yet, so if someone does before me, I would like to know your success.

Try going to A paint that changes color depending on the angle it\'s viewed from....motorcycle paint.

Look for "Mirage" under "Products"

I paint and repaint a lot of my own spoons. I use the Dick Nite paints available at most tackle stores. If you are going to use the glow in the dark make sure and use the white undercoat first. If you are painting over raw metal colors you will probably have to use it anyhow to make the colors lighter. I bought an air brush and haven't used it yet. The Dick Nite Lure Coat is just lacquer paint and drywa fast. Keep lacquer thinner around to thin it down if it gets thick after several uses and for clean up. My spoons are usually really big ocean and saltwater spoons. These are easier to paint then smaller spoons. If you put it on thick with a brush it will run together. I hang them as soon as I paint them and let them blend and dry.
