Anybody else run into the mess at Pt. Defiance this week end? I live in Bellevue and left my place at 1:30 pm and got in the water at 5:00pm. I had no idea the bite of Tacoma was going on. @#$%!!! I can't believe they gave away all the trailer parking for the party. What a joke!
We did manage 1- 18lber at Dalco. Did not see any other fish caught.

After all that heart ache at least you got a fish. A nice one at that.

Char - yeah ruston was a mad house saturday - saw allot of nice racks though sitting there waiting to get up the hill out of the park!

The Taste of Tacoma may have been a nightmare, but that 18# was a wet dream. Nice fish for this area!

Was there friday night charr. My boy could'nt ( most likely, did'nt want to) get his boat down there. We decided to go "Goldfish"ing instead. Your right DR, LOTS of eye candy.

We were out all day Saturday, I got one of the last parking spots in the lower lot at 4:30am. It SUCKED!! But yes, the ride up the hill was bumper to bumper and snails pace but had a hard time keeping my eyes and tongue in my face-WOW HOLY COW there be some fine looking young womens running around there!! I'm really looking forward to dirty old man status! Sure am glad the wife stayed home....
