Fished North Area 10 this AM from 4:30 through the tide change. Started at Kingston, then Jeff Head, then Pt. Munroe. Did not have a single takedown all morning! Not much bait and no birds. Most telling perhaps was the lack of boats...the locals know when it is hot, and I did not see a single other boat fishing any of these areas! I can't ever remember this area being so slow in late June.

Chip- was there as much bait as when we were out the other day? What gear were you using?

I think I am going to give it a shot tomorrow morning now that I have got my boat back.

Dave...Today made the other morning look red hot! Probably more bait at Point Munroe than anywhere else. I might even be tempted to try the east side, the fish may be concentrated there, or just look for the six-packs from Shilshole...if there are any fish around, they will likely have found them. They were nowhere to be seen today.

Southworth fished really well this afternoon at high tide. Lots of bait stacked in front of the ferry. No kings but I managed 2 blackmouth over 10 lbs and one about 5 lbs. Of course I didn't change my leaders after the first two fish and promptly broke off a nice king.
