ok, i have some stren high impact line that i bought last summer, around july.. its been stored in a box, with all my other fishing junk, is this line still good? im gonna be going out on the sound today and i need to respool.. if not i got a fresh spool ready.. thanks for any feedback..

If it has been out of the sun, and dry, I don't see why it still shouldn't be usable.

I've got a couple of bulk spools of Maxima UG that are around 15 yrs old. They still test exactly the same as when they were new. I keep them in a cool place, out of the light, and away from other plastic items.

thanks for your replies... im sorta paranoid about using older line, since i dont hook many fish a year..

i forgot to put, i cant afford to lose a fish..lol
