Any of you folks rode/driven in one of these? Other than an eight foot beam... I am impressed.

Close to starting up the charter... right in my price range.

Hey Downriggin-

Just sent you a mail, these are great boats. Would be interested in what the dealer is quoting you and all the options.

I'm sure they are ok boats, but salt isn't exactly an area of known expertese for NR. I'd look at Boulton, Woolridge, Ed Wing, and especially Bow Boat Works who will build to your specs.

I'd look at ifish.net\Salty Dogs for more info about NR salt boats since they sell a lot of them down there where they are made in OR.

I believe that North River bought or buys this boat from Almar. If so, Almar really does know saltwater boating!!!!

Hey DR...I can't really add any value except to say of the boats I've looked at the NR is first on my list when I upgrade. It will be 2 or 3 years before I start looking hard, but so far I like what I've seen. Who knows, I might have to book a trip with you just to check out the new boat.

downrigger I sat in that boat at the shows this winter and really loved it. there are two more boats you should look at. the ACB and the stabi-craft. the stabi craft has a 24fter called the super cab. its not on their web site but I saw it at the evereet show and really loved it. I was looking for a weekender for me and the wife that I could fish out of a lot. if you are just looking for a guide type day boat then your prioites ore a little different then mine. but take a look the are both good boats. p.sp how mush are you paying for that boat.??

Downriggin,
I visit Almar about every other day. They are building the O/S temporarily for North River. North River will eventually be building these. Keiser and Nelson have 2 on order and won't take delivery until October I'm told. It looks like production dates for now put you back a few months.
It looks like the 22 ftr starts out at 33,000 without power. I haven't seen you at the tackle store lately, you got that honeydo list going again? Jack

I thought that I heard that Almar bought North River. In any case the Almar is tops for an aluminum salt water boat. I looked at this North River at the show and was impressed but not sold. I was shopping for a friend wand we settled on the 25' Parker with a 9'6" beam. Check out Almar's version.
