I am trying to buy a piece of Property from my family on the Kalama River and I would like to get an idea of the value before paying for a full blown appraisal. Steve over at Advanced lending Inc. gave me the idea that I could trade a weekend at the cabin up there for an estimate of value. The property is 26 acres with a cabin on it and two out buildings. So if anyone knows or is and appraiser that would be interested in this let me know please. Here are a few pictures to get a rough idea of what we are looking at.

nice nice stuff you can't beat that, you're spot is on my favorite river, place to relax, place to do what ever when ever. I'm thinknig you're up in the fly water am I right about that. Oh well just is good to see a beautiful picture, I will see the water for my self in less than 24 hours for the weekend. I don't know any property assessment firms sorry.

35 minutes and counting and I will be leaving the desk for the river. Can't wait, you have an absolutely awesome spot there. I learned to fish for steelies up in the fly water when they used to let hatchery fish go up there. Still today it is the most awesome sight in the world. I am staying actually in a cabin across either the suspension bridge or summers creek bridge tonight that we are rentin from a guy, who knows maybe you know them, any way very stoked on the trip and appreciate the pictures nice photography, even though it is near impossible to make a picture like that unattractive taking into consideration the view. I will post moday to tell you how the fishing was in case you weren't hitting it your self.

Jackie, I haven't been up since fourth of July weekend but I talked to one of neighbors who was floating it in his cataraft for fun and he had spotted a few fish in the fly area. If you have fished the fly area quite a bit you probably recognize the area the pictures are from. I know a few of the people up there, a lot has changed in the last 10- 15 years though.

Like you said fishing is nothing like it used to be in the 80's but I am glad to see the natives making a comeback. I see more and more fish every year up there.

Good luck on your trip.
