I missed the sockeye season (day) again this year as I was out of town. Does anybody have any photos of the boat launches or just the boats on the lake? I wanted to see what a madhouse it really was.

Also does anyone have any good boat launch stories?

Hope you all got your fish this weekend.

We got our fish, but it took 2 hours to pull the boat out at Magnuson Park (Sand Point). At 2 pm, the line for the launch was out of the park an into the neighborhood across the street.

Fishing was great. My kids are 6 and 4, so it was a lot of fun watching them reel in a sockeye.
