I just wanted to let every one know who has been up to Sekui or is planing on going, that stays at Olsens Or plans to stay at olsens BEWARE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. IUF you were there recently check your accounts. I stayed their and used the normal charge account sit up But guess what I left and my bill was the norm $425.00. That’s gas and 8 days tent and moorage well went to the mail and found out they got $1500.00 Off my card. They were only approved for the 425.00 but ran supposedly approved 5#s of 395.00 404.98 145.87 264.98 and 300.00 so as you see I’m caught up in a big hassle to get my money back.
I've stayed there for 7 years and have never had this kind of crap go on. So If you go TAKE CASH And don’t use your debit or credit cards they will RIP YOU OFF and refuse to talk to you about it. Best scenario is go stay at the Coho or Van Rippers I latter found out that they got another Wrights stuff on my bill and he got some of my stuff on his. Its obvious they don’t care any more and just want money. The place has gone down hill bad and all I can say is the COHO HAS GAINED A NEW LOYAL COSTEMER. I WILL NEVER USE OLSENS AGEIN. Aix

AIX,
Not to be argumentative, but did you take the time to speak with them about the mistakes, and did they apolgize and correct them?
I have never been to this place, but most mistakes like this can be easily corrected between the retailer and the cardholder.
Crap happens, unfortunately, and maybe it is exactly like you say, so please don't take offense....but I just hate to see anyones reputation or business slammed so hard and be accused of such crimes as you suggest.
Mistakes are going to happen, anywhere...the real difference is in how a business handles it when they do screw up.

Mike true about dragging some one through the mud, but an honest mistake is running a card twice for the same amount. Running a card again and again for different amounts is Crooked and thievery They did not have permission to run the card for more or less than the amount I cleared, of $425.00 and one time so all the rest were lies and a ploy on the part of the resort to rip some one off . Now for those of you who will say it was employees, their all family and their should be more responsibility involved.

Aix, I just checked out this afternoon (on VISA) but so far, all seems to be OK. Stay tuned. I was a little concerned about the fishing. I heard many glowing reports, but 4 of us in 2 boats only picked up about a dozen Coho and Chinook in the #6 range. Of these, only 3 were clipped. This was in 3 1/2 days of fishing. This morning we trolled through the pack of about 45 boats for the first 2 hours of daylight and only saw 2 fish to a boat, and these were both released. The WDF&W checker and the enforcement officer both reported "slow" fishing, but the P. A. paper today said that fishing is excellent. What's going on?

I signed my cat up for a credit card. Strangely, with no job, no income and no assets she got it. Total credit line of $8,100 and cash access line of $1,600. Unfortunately, I am still unable to teach her how to sign her name.

I mean, if they aren't treating this as a high priority, then by all means, tell everyone you know about this. HOWEVER, if they aren't being jerks or anything, and are crediting you back your money, then let it go quietly. You think this is a mistake you can't make, but in all honesty, you never really know... When I used to work at a gas station, I had a guy who came in and showed me his credit report, showing we charged him over $80 if i recall... I checked our reports and it showed we charged him only $30 something... strangest thing. needless to say, he was credited immediately. Curtis

Bummer if that is what happened. However, I'd be kinda curious to see what they had to say. Of course, you can always call Visa and have them stop the excess charges. Visa will likely ask you if you have contacted the merchant to work out the charge directly.
I kinda doubt direct theft. If they made a practice of this, they would get busted. Credit card thieves don't usually operate from fixed addresses. The assets could be attached if they were busted. Maybe they have some new employee who is dipping into the till, maybe Visa's computer burped. You might want to see what they have to say before possibly slandering a business who may be as innocent a victim as you are.
