Just got back from 2 days at Neah, the little 16 foot arima is WAY more seaworthy than its captain! Was there for BIG kings and only landed 2 around 15 lbs with probably 15 or so under 10lbs , Silvers were HUGE but almost all native on Friday but hit a large school of hatchery fish on Thur. Did lose one GIANT king right at dark by the Green Buoy, damn that was a nice fish...oh well. Overall very slow for big kings but very fast for small kings and big silvers C & R. Will be back in August as those silvers will be huge this year...bring your dramamine as the swell was big all day...

I was in the Tiderunner with a couple of my friends. Thanks for the tip on Friday. We were surface trolling up top catching silvers amongst all that bait and had given up on Kings for the day. After our chat on the VHF we dropped down a little deeper (130) and I picked up a 25 lb King. Lots of big silvers out too. Fishing was pretty good I thought. We pretty much caught the silvers at will. I am going back in August for silvers for sure!

Hey good to hear you hit a nice fish, I didnt even go that deep so I should have gone even deeper I guess. Hopefully run into you guys again out there, it is a very cool spot. Hitting the bubble will really be lame the rest of the summer... \:\)
