They could give a crap about our piddly little issues. After much discussion I'm convinced that four more years of either party will have no significant impact on the issues surrounding our sportfisheries.

That is not to say they won't have some impact. NMFS is certainly more conservative under a Bush presidency...and hopefully the reverse will be true under Kerry's presidency. That kind of power shifting added up over time really equals a big zero for fish, sportfishermen and anyone else who makes their living off of this particular resource.

Unfortunately what you get is merely a bent as opposed to a stance. Where has the Roosevelt type leadership gone in this country? Poor guy could never get elected today....
