Two guys from Battle Ground , Washington, have been charged in terrace with guiding with out a license,giving a false statement to a conservation officer, obstructing a conservation officer,obstructing a peace officer (cop) under the crimminal code,they also face charges under the canadian immigration and refugee act. They had their truck,boat and fishing gear seized. They could face fines up to $100,000 dollars, jail time or both.
Not trying to start a p*ssing contest, but you wonder why some canadians get upset sometimes at non-resident fishermen.

This has nothing to do with the nationality of the idiots who were poaching. I'm sure your country has poachers who exploit the skeena also.

They should lock thos idiots up for a good long time!

It is unfortunate that such reprehensible behavior would create such a poor reflection of your many good friends and neighbors down here in the states. It would not surprise me however to know that someone who would show such disrespect for your country and utterly disregard your laws would also do the same for their own. Nevertheless, as one very embarrassed fellow Washingtonian and American please accept my sincere apologies for their shameful and inexcusable behavior even if they are unwilling to offer the same.
