FnP, nice pics of both weeks fishing. Sounds and looks like you had a blast. Looks like your girls enjoy fishing as much as my two. Looks like you had gorgeous weather. Shirtless on the Kenai is truly a treat. I have to get back up there soon as all your photos truly remind me of what it's like there. When you take pics are you using the best jpeg or are you compressing on your computer for posting on the web? I was curious as I always have to compress which becomes a bit tedious with a bunch of pictures.

FNP those are outstanding pics! The coho shot with the berries in the background is one of the prettiest fish pictures I've seen. Thank you so much for your great reports and photos. I didn't go on my annual trek to the Kenai this year(getting married instead), but thanks to you I felt like I went.
I have a question for you, is that your fishing license around your neck? Is that a new requirement?
Thanks, Q

I shoot with max resolution, just in case I get that once in a lifetime magazine or 11 x 14 quality shot. The pics I post are always compressed and resized (individually, I might add) to a horizontal width of 640 pixels to satisfy the board requirements.

Thanks, Q Yes, that is my license hanging prominently from my neck for all to see. No, it is not a requirement... I only do it as I feel it helps as a FWP enforcement "repellant" of sorts.

Nice pictures FNP, one of these days, I will have to experience that area. Been all over AK but never there. I will be sure and look you up for information when I do. Gonna be doing the Westport thing this Sunday, sorry to hear you have to work, maybe next weekend. Just called a friend of mine and him and a couple guys launched out of Ilwaaco (Sp) for tuna. They went 45 miles out and caught 15 tuna, not bad for their first time. What a great weekend to go too, the weather forcast was for smooth sailing.

Doc won't admit it, but he's a closet Grip-N-Grinner! Man, I really need to get back to AK. These pics/reports are killing me.....
