We are heading out of Westport Thursday and Friday and looking for any up to date info on depth and direction of the kings on the outside. Also what would be the conditons on getting out with a SW 5ft swell in the bar. Any info would be greatl help.

Last Saturday we fished straight out from the bar (maybe a little bit south) in 200 feet of water and had some good king action. The charters were in 160 feet of water and got some silvers and smaller kings.

5 ft swells will be bumpy. Avoid the maximum ebb current by at least 1.5 hours and you *should* be fine. Check the conditions before you go.
