hey folks, I am shore bound for the time being and a couple of buddies want to go fishing this evening. is PNP a waste of time from shore? or are there any spots on the penisula which might work better right now?

Try Salsbury point located on the Kitsap county side just north of the Hood Canal bridge. If you look on this site you will see just about daily updates on salsbury point.

Whether or not PNP is a waste of your time depends upon how many hours of fishing you are willing to put in to get a fish or two. It also depends upon when you head out to go fishing as well as what part of the tides you fish.

well didn't go to PNP but the spot we went to saw 3 silvers caught and numerous others surface. no luck for us though. we did get stuck behind three feet of water at high tide and it was cold.
