I convinced my 13 year old daughter to join me this morning. She didn't believe that I was serious that 6:00 a.m. was actually "sleeping in". Decided to avoid the combat fishing in EB and try our luck with coho at Meadow Point. In an hour we had a 7 lb. coho, and released two small kings. To say that she had fun (and her dad) would be an understatement. Before the morning was over she was cutting herring strips, could tell a king from a silver, and filleted half her fish. I think I have a new fishing buddy.

Right on Waino! From your tone it sounds like you two really connected and had a good time. If she likes fish for dinner she will really be hooked once you cook that fresh Coho together, and she eats her own caught fish. Was that her first salmon? ...if so even better.
