Fished the sammish for the first time this year. I didnt do worth a sh*t. Anyone else fish the sammish this year and have better luck? I have heard of a few being taken, but not to many

Fished the ditch yesterday. I can only take wading thru the muck a couple of times a year. Lot of guys fishing with plain lead lead jigs, just letting them soak on the bottom waiting for a fish to bump their line.

This rain we have had should help out down there somewhat and in the next couple of weeks there should be the first real good push of fish.

try not fishing with all of the not so in tune fisherman and you should get into more fish.

I didnt see any fish landed, hooked, jump, swim, or float by. But hell I'm still pretty much a rookie at this thing, so just trying to learn, and maybe get lucky everynow and then
