I'll be fishing Neah on Friday afternoon thru Sunday at noon. We'll get our coho before Tatoosh and then head out to deeper water for Kings weather permitting. I'll be on 68 and answering to Seastrike if anyone wants to chat or run out deep together.

If you can't hail me on the VHF you could call my cell at (206) 409-5675. I have Verizon and it works pretty well out there.

Likewise, Fri through Sun. Makah Days is this weekend. Usually a pretty good fireworks show.

I am heading up that way as well this weekend. How much busier is it on the weekend (especially with Makah Days) then during the week? I have been up there for three trips this summer but always on weekdays.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it wasn't nearly as busy as Sekiu.

I've only fished it on weekends including Labor Day last year. The dock is big enough that it really never seems crowded. There is also so much water that while fishing it seems empty.
I mostly fish areas 9-10 which always seem crowded on weekends. Compared to that Neah is deserted.

I fished Neah Bay last weekend and the fishing was crazy for silvers. We used coyote spoons because the fish are easier to release than bait and cheaper. We had 8 Halibut in the boat by 8:30am and limit of kings by 11:00 up to 31lbs. and a ton of large true cod. You will have a great time this time of year the fish are everywhere. Good Luck and watch the weather. Lingcod
