"Just got a voicemail from Susan Yeager/ Executive Assistant of the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission that they will put an audio recording of the WDFW Commission meeting on the WDFW website. Susan said they have never done this before, but do not anticipate any problems. It won't be on the site until the afternoon. Look for a link to the audio from the WDFW homepage. Susan said the suggestion for the audio was well received, and they will make every attempt to make this a success."

Anybody hear anything on this??

The State AGs came out and suggested it was not int he best legal interest of the State to have a blanket moratorium. The moratorium then was rescinded. THEN, the commission enacted a one fish yearly limit on streams considered "healthy".

This is not what some of us hoped for but it is a move in the right direction. Coupled with the victory won in 2002, it represents a change in allowable limit from 30 per year to one per year.
