Any body do any good on the opener? Probably head down after work tomorrow and was wondering if there are any reports out there.

Yesterday I got a nice silver. Not a lot of action going on where I was , but farther up, there was lines of drifters and 1 out of 12 seemed to be walking away with fish. I didn't see any big kings- couldn't tell from across, but most looked like medium silvers or small kings. Today, nada for me but I started late and did see several drifters walking out with fish below the clarks creek. I watched many fish flip right near my line but no bites. (plunking untill I get sick of it, then will drift) . Fish all over but nothing biting. I will be more creative tomorrow with my offering. Good luck! PS, drifters I watched were using lots of lead(almost as loud of a kerplunk as my plunking weight) so I don't know if more lead is needed to hit bottom here or if it's a snagging action.

Sometimes, when the water is less than perfect steelhead green, slowing down your drift helps the fish find your sandshrimp oil yarn or eggs offering .02

Fished the Puyallup yesterday east of Valley Ave. Walleye caught a nice 5lb silver on chartreuse spin-glo and roe. I had a 3 second adrenaline rush. Barbless hook didn't hold I guess. Lot of silvers rolling in the area. Just not catching. Water is about 2 feet high of normal and running fast. Used about 3" of lead to keep on the bottom. Lots of snags, but got most loose. May try again this afternoon.
