It has been one of those weeks. Dealing with car trouble, and of course, the car was in the shop, and the fishing gear was in it when it got towed in, so.....no fishing. Anyone doing any good? Any kings showing up since the rain? Silvers still hitting eggs?

River is very high and barely fishable in a very few select locations. Water is muddy brown and 0 vis, not silty gray 4 inch vis or the unusual blue/green 2 foot vis. The fish are tough to catch when the river is this high. Kings and some silvers were in the river before the rain in good numbers and numbers should climb for the silvers. If the rain stops and the river dropps to at least 600 cfps then it will be good fishing. Until then you can try but the fishing will be tough.

What FJ said. Water is high and the fish are tough to get. They are definitely coming though. From what I seen, the Puyallups were doing well on the coho with the driftnets.

It's tough when you're standing in line of anglers tossing and a whole school of 'hos come splashing up the river behind everyone in 18' of mud. If the rain stops for a few days...
