DR is missing the 2nd year in a row for Silvers.
Enjoying the sun (and bikinis) down south amigo.

Those fish can be traveling anywhere around Squaxin Island- fast too! Finding them isn't too much of a problem. The trick is staying with them once you find them.

My hot tickets are trolling hot pink or orange Wiggle Warts (no weight) or a #2 orange Spin N Glo on about a 1/2 oz of lead just under the surface. Have no idea why this works, but it is killer. Sometimes I drop to a #4 Spin N Glo and 2 1/2" hootchy.

Here's another good option if you get tried of spinners/spoons... Rig a black/pearl Sluggo (pink work style) with a 3/4 oz bullet sinker (like bass fishing) and cast that sucker! Make it dance and hang on!

I'll be kicking off Blackmouth here in 20 days- give or take.

Hey Goinfishin, where'd you find them? I went out last night and never saw a thing, talked to a couple guys never found them either. I checked the usual spots by the pens on up past the bridge but saw no jumpers and all we caught were several small bullheads.

Hit it hard this morning and hooked one fish about 7lbs and promptly lost it....Buddy hooked and kept a nice bright one about 6lbs...It was an all morning thing......Trolled the spin n glows at first like DR suggested, trolled combo of spin n glow and flashers.....trolled magwarts...all for zip! Finally anchored near shore and tossed spinners till we came up with those two.....Both chromers...Fish near shore around the Squaxin area and you'll find fish..We had to work hard to locate them at first...There are quite a few of em' in there...just keep cruising and looking...Not many were rolling by the way....

Hey fishdreamer,

Adam told me who you were today....lol. Give him a call if you want a ride out in my boat, usually have one extra seat...I'll be fishing evenings till my next days off. Heard you were doing pretty good for yourself on the river.....
