Based on everyone's experience this past weekend in the Everette coho derby what's the best bet for catching a couple of coho this weekend in the Everette, Mukilteo, Edmonds area?

I've got a 13' smokercraft so rough open water when conditions are bad can be an issue. I fished the wreck at Mukilteo this weekend and didn't have any problems w/ the boat. Catching fish was another issue...

Should forget the sound the rivers are going to drop back into shape and when it does you will be surprised with what you find. All the rivers will be Hot.
I would be joining you on the rivers this weekend but I am going home to New Hampshire to throw the flies for Native Rainbows and Brookies........Looking so forward to it.

So the rivers are where it's at eh? Thanks for the advice, I'll start doing some checking on the rivers and see if I can't get out this week one morning.

As for the fly fishing, that sounds awesome. I fly fish from my float tube for rainbows in some of the local lakes and have been thinking about gearing up for fly fishing for steelhead on the sky this winter.
