First time ever to the area on Saturday. 3 rods, 5 kings...killed a 20#, 26#, and a 40# !!!! Then fished for coho and got a 15# and a 35# KING (approx) . We saw lots of fish caught on Saturday.

Sunday we had a 18# and a 26# king, and then 3 coho from 5-8#'s. Sunday seemed alot slower, with the checker having checked 11 fish (before our 5) by 2:00.

Each day we missed at a least another king bite....all-in-all a great trip!!!

Fished it Friday with a friend. Two rods, zero salmon. Lots of boats, few fish seen landed. Lots of fish showing on the finder in the north harbor, and very few showing near John's.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.

fishing at Grays Harbor was good Friday and Saturday but slowed yesterday. Today there was a huge crowd off the 28th street ramp with a good mid morning bite.

That fishery is a fickle one and luck plays a big part in success. One of the guides I know has limited his customers every day so far.

bottom line is that you need to put your time in on the water so your bait is in the water when it is your turn.

Way to go, Snit!

I hope that your Dad got the biggest ones!

You did better than I did. I got one (solo) on Friday in the low 20's. And another same size on Saturday and none on Sunday. They have a definate bite there that lasts about 45 minutes. If you miss it, you're screwed...

Fished mouth of Hoquiam River Saturday with two friends and got kings of 10, 18 and 28 pounds and one silver about 10. Had two other strikes. Saw lots of other fish caught.
