Ok i want your best guess to what these rivers will be producing this weekend. I am debating weather to go to the puyallup/carbon or fish the green near the auburn/black diamond road ( its opens the 6th) Thanks in advance for you help!

I thought your info on the Green was bogus until I read the rule change: https://fortress.wa.gov/dfw/erules/efishrules/erule.jsp?id=243

I would think with this rain that we are getting and the rain that is forcast for Friday and Saturday should move fish in both systems. My bet is on the Puyallup, but I also know there are alot of fish on the lower Green.

Good luck wherever you decide to go!

I'll tell you how the Puyallup/Carbon fared tomorrow.

I would try to go where the people are less likely to be... To me that usually means the Green as the Puyallup and Carbon get hit hard this time of year.

I think you'll find fish in all 3 so just go!

Landed 4 today on the Carbon and lost countless others. Largest was around 10 pounds. Hundreds of silver were passing quite fast on their way up river all morning. All but a few of the fish had my fly hooked in the nose. I was using mostly a red and orange marabou fly.

When I was there, there was lots of fish. But the last half hour I was there I didn't see one fish. I might just have been there at the right time.
