Will this coming rain push some more fresh silvers into puget sound or is the run pretty much over and should I start to focus on fresh water now?

I have been out a couple of times fishing Southworth, Manchester and in and around E-bay. All I have really been able to catch is a whole bunch of shakers. Lots and lots of them. I know there is quite a few fish in Yukon Harbor and have spent some time casting all kinds of junk at them with limited success (landed one last weekend).

What do you guys think - I have some fishing time planned on Sat. Should I be thinking salt or fresh?

Steve

I've done well on Possession out to the end of the month.

I had pretty good fishing last Saturday at Bush Pt., North of Possession Pt. by a few miles, and last year I remember catching fish through October.

I'm partial to the salt though! Mostly because there is no salmon fishing rivers on Whidbey \:D

I was thinking of getting out in the salt myself for some silvers. How has the southsound been doing? Does anyone know?

My son was down on Hartsteine Island last weekend at his grandparents new place and said he saw salmon rolling all over the place. If I weren't busy on Saturday I would be fishing the salt.

This question is directed towards those who fish Point No Point. I was curious just how long the hatchery coho run lasts and whether or not I'm wasting my time holding out hope that I can still catch one at this stage of the season. I've been doing well, on wild fish, but been releasing them.
