I pulled out at 11:00 am. I would like to know how everyone else is doing , Im hoping this rain brings them in .

WTG on the silver........White gill netters go in Friday the 8th, then lot's of netting by tribal gillnet and set net fishing until the end of the month..........so that cuts down on the amount of fish available for sports to "try and catch".

Some fish are being caught........I was hoping for lot's of rain........tuesday and wednesday, to get many of those "in bay" fish past the 1st gill nets...........just didn't happen......

Got to fish on Wed 10-6 and had my best day of the season on those "bay fish". Lucky for me, Tuesdays rain abated abruptly, leaving lots of fish and sunshine for my last hurrah on the bay. The river fishing has been a lot tougher in the past week, but I did get a report from the fish checker at Cosi that he checked 45 fish for 31 boats (or was it 41 for 35)....in any case better than a fish per boat yesterday.

Inriver sporties have already used up more than half their net-free days in October. Looks like the rains will come just in time to feed all of the waiting gillnets with loads of fresh fish. Only five more net-free days for upriver users. Good luck to all!

Read Friday's Seattle Times, The Chehalis must be the hottest river in the world, All time!
They say this is the place to be.

They forgot to mention "Nets" coming to the river on Friday. Yes, they do make a difference!
