Our family is going to Caldwell this week for a wedding. My wife, a very, very, very kind soul has allowed us to get lost for 3 hours prior to the festivities and resulting disaster.

As such, I'm looking for any ideas on fishing prospects. My son (who is 11) is an absolute nut on the issue (bagged his first take home coho on Saturday on Soos Creek). Room for gear is limited, so I need to determine if I need the heavy gear or light stuff and where to fish. We'll be in Caldwell or near the St. Chappel winery.

Any ideas? Someplace easy to find and easy to fish? We'll be using spinning gear and yes, I know I need a one day license!
