Hi Everyone, Thought I would let you all know that my wonderfull wife has delivered a new little fisherman into the world. last Wednesday, she gave birth to a 7lb 3oz healthy baby boy. I have been looking forward to this day, and can not tell you how happy we are. Now, i can't wait until the day I get to take him out to the river for the first time, and pass along the the love of sportfishing I have! Here are a couple of pics... Fantastic!  There's no better fishin' buddy in the world than your own son (or daughter). The best times I've ever had on the water came with my boy by my side. Sweetest words you'll ever hear: "Dad, can we go fishing?" Hope you and your new little fisherman have a wonderful adventure for many, many years!

Cool!
I had 2 daughters (youngest now 14), but my wife had two kids by previous marriage, and my step-daughter is all set to give us our first grandchild...a boy, due Nov. 10th.
Already got him his first Snoopy Rod.
Awesome, Steeladdict...some things are just more important than others...and the birth of a baby is best of all.

Congrats E.B.....we'll have him on the river in no time. However, between our two boys on the way and yours you'll need to get a bigger boat  . I know I'm gonna need at least a 20 or maybe even a 23 . Talk to you soon, CM

congratulations brotha!! ...as a matter of fact, the first words I heard this morning myself were 'i think my water broke', so it really won't be long for me now!

Don't throw that one back.....he's a keeper.
7 pounds......not bad for a trout, and even better for a baby!
My brother (a fly fisherman) was practically teaching his infant the "double-haul" cast before the kid could talk!
