This year i have yet to land a chinook salmon, yes i know, sad. Where can i go in washington to get one of these bad boys this coming weekend?

The Vedder is a prime river to catch a chinook. There is a large run of big white kings that peaks about the middle of Oct. These fish are not great table fare at this point, but they are not too hard to catch. \:\) There are miles of river access. Just look for a group of cars parked along the road. Don't leave anything valuable in your car though since Wa plates are more prone to being broken into.

Fished the Satsop today after work for a little over an hour. Hooked 8 kings, 2 silvers and 1 chum between the two of us. I'd say that's pretty good. ;\)
