People are really something now days. About 15 years ago we used to live in Woodinville and my oldest son found a pile of cash buried in some leaves when he and his friends were out playing football. My wife and I called the police and turned it in. The cop said he would not have turned it in himself if he had found it. I told him thank you for helping me teach my son and their friends good morals. Sends a really good message coming from a police officer. There was about $3000.00. The deli my wife used to manage was robbed the night before and we saw the doberman with the strobe light come running through looking for the robber. The new deli owners had bought the store and laid everyone off except for my wife. She had managed the place for them for a while until she quit later. They got the $3000 back and when my son and wife went over to tell the deli owners the good news, they were met with an a**hole that wanted to know where the rest of the money was. No thank you or anything. My wife went off on them and set them straight. They never offered a reward or anything. After she went back alone and taked to them they finally managed to squeeze out an offer for a fountain coke a day for a year. What a jerk! That sure makes it hard to explain to a six year old that they did the right thing with all of that crap.
