Holy cRap. That was outstanding. The whole sky was on fire. Guess we got up to 4 more days of this but last night is estimated to be the strongest. But there is another coronal mass ejection coming our way so watch for it.

I had a friend call me to tell me about it. It was a great show, some of the best Ive ever seen and the first time my girlfriend had ever seen them, really special. We were even treated to a few, very bright, meteors.

It was a pretty good show for around these parts but till you see a display in Alaska, preferably Artic Circle or above {not many of us make to Prudoe Bay so fat chance} then all you are seeing is a weak colorless light show.

But it was impressive for these parts!

I agree spartan but in 33 years i have never seen anything like that show we had. Alaskas is like a huge ribbon across the sky, awesome nonetheless, but this event filled the whole sky and was very rare. Very spectacular. We also saw some very bright and long slow falling meteors. Just breathtaking. Too much dang fog tonight.

SPeaking of events, anyone see that Mt. Raindeer had it's biggest set of earthquakes in 20 years yesterday too!!??

I dont think Tacoma would be hit too bad, most of the town is on a hill, but Orting, Sumner, Puyallup and Fife would be wiped out. Maybe even Enumclaw and Buckly from the White R.

Good thing Im on the hill!!!
