the snoq is running at 2300 cfs today. is that enought to float my drifft boat. i have never drifted this river but after doing the upper sky on saturday i want to try more rivers. what dangers do i have to look out for ? are there any snaggs or root balls that will give me trouble? thanks for the help.

There was a deer that went over a few years ago. Some folks watched it happen. It actually survived and walked away on it's own after catching its breath for a while...

Lead Thrower, That's what ya get for asking that question!
I do know a person that ran his 18' sled up to the base of the falls during high water.
That should get some laughs. But it is true.
There use to be a guy that would long pole his canoe from Fall City to the base of the falls.
I don't know if he still does that or not.
Has anyone else ever seen this?

Just be aware that the ramps at Fall City and Neil Road (your take outs) are very long and steep and should probably only be used if you have a 4x4 as they always have loose sand on them. I've gotten stuck on both even with a 4x4 trying to pull my sled out.
