Does anyone have some reports? I was curious if the lack of rain has affected the fishing yet?

A lot of folks on the Sky today.

I fished the same spot as Mr. Vedder and I did tuesday.

The fish were all in a short slot in the middle of a run. Two guys were there on the spot.

One of them really knew what he was doing and hooked 7 chum in the two hours I was fishing above and below them.

I went strikeless for those two hours. After they left, I hooked three in 45 minutes, landing one about 12 and crackering the other two with a bit of slack after setting the hook.

Those fish are there and I'm sure in many other holding spots.

I wouldn't hestitate to go.

Doing the Skagit tomorrow, will post a report.

I fished the mouth of the wallace on thursday and layed the wood to them. The four of us who went caught 20+ chum in about 4 hours and 1 firetruck coho. All fish came on float and jig. Fish averaged about 12lbs. Caught one in the upper teens. My girlfriend has been complaining about a sore arm all day, I am so proud. Anyways it's definately worth a trip out there the chum are every with the occasional silver. I'll be there on sunday morning for a few hours. Say hi, i'll be in the camo g-loomis hat.

Gotta love the Chum bummers.

Saw a boy not more than 8 or 9 years old with a 6 foot trout rod fighting those tug boats. Now thats what it is all about as you see a lunker start another run and it is all the kid can do to keep hold of the rod as he has to take a couple steps into the river from the fish's strength.

Hit the Sky this morning, not a whole lot of fish rolling. Saw one fish get caught. Got skunked and went to work. Probably need to get some rain to bring in some fresh fish
