Just rolled the one chrome winter run in the hatchery hole first cast (damn my light 1141). A harder hookset I would have had that fish. Saw one other landed. We need rain for the big push of brats, and to flush out the smolts---I couldn't keep bait on my hook today.

yah its not like im a little kid spartan im 17 i take the boat out on my own, and we had a 5 day weekend, 5 days off = 5 days of fishing

We were all in our prime, at least thats how we remember it, when we were 17 but I'm sure we were in school for the most part, lol!

Its great to skip once in a while to fish with your Pop though.

hell when i was 17 i was huntin and fishin. skippin school. put some time on the duc last week. all the fish we spotted were up high. hatchery run.

griz, fished that same drift last saturday, you are right .all fish were up high. also all we got were very dark fish, but still better than no fish.

yeah we got only one that day . lucky for us it was prety bright. on a plug.
