If my neighbor’s dog does not stop barking I am not going to put a hook into its mouth but I am thinking of planting one firmly in the owner’s arse.

Thought about it, 12 plus calls to the police over the dog kind of leaves a paper trail back to me. I digress here now but being a law biding citizen gets me nada when dealing with white trash people.

Finally came down to this......

One night the dog woke me up in the middle of the night again, 2 a.m. The dog had already woke me up at 11p.m. that night. Mind you I get up at 4 a.m. to get ready for work. I also should add I was sleeping with ear plugs in and was still awoke by this white trash owner’s mangy mutt. Actually 3 mangy mutts.

Now I get pretty pissed when being awakened from a cozy slumber and the first thought to cross my mind was, hey I own a Mini 14 and could end this problem right now, bye bye doggy. (I know it is not the dogs fault but the owners) Ok came to senses and realized spending the next few years in prison cuddled up to some guy named Bubba did not appeal to me.

As I looked out my window I noticed all the lights were off in their house and they were getting a nice sleep. Got dressed, grabbed BIG MAG LIGHT and walked to fence staying on my property and proceeded to shine big light in neighbor’s window while yelling for them to shut there dog up. Now remember not only have I called the police on them at least a dozen times for the dog I have also had a few conversations with them about the dog before I called the police.

Neighbors come out; I keep light on them the entire time. Neighbor says what am I supposed to do it is an outdoor dog and barks. I say in my maddened state, take dog inside, give it away, kick it, kill it, I don’t give a rats behind but as long as I don’t sleep from that dog barking neither do you. Stayed in my yard shining light until they called the police, evidentially I angered them. Oh darn and the crime if that was one was worth the time.

Police agreed I had every right to sleep without dog barking and said it might create a less hostile environment if I stopped the flash light idea. Dog got better for a while then started barking again, called cops and same old BS nothing was done.

Wait till my neighbors see the new flood lights I purchased and am mounting in a tree in my yard to shine in their windows. It is going to be so bright in their house they are going to think the sun either shines on them 24 hours a day or they live in Alaska.

Told the wife I hate that family due to their lack of respect for anyone around them and all courtesies are off, LT is at war.

You might consider poisoning the bothersome little mut. A white trash pet owner isn't likely to spend money on a forensic autopsy of their colapsed canine, and with no entrance or exit wounds they couldn't implicate you.

I have had both horse and dog, while in different parts of asia. I thought horse was fairly good. The dog I had was a bit tough and stringy

It's best to tenderize dog before eating it. I am currently using a Ford.

Don't even need to buy the collar, any good pet shop will rent you one for a week or two.

I've got the same problem with my neighbors two dogs but I don't mind it too much. They only do it when the bears get in my apple trees.

The bark collar has already been discussed with them by the police. I guess that didn't help much

I may try the video and court thing if it is not cleared up by summer when the windows need to be open on those 80-90 degree days.

The thing that really gets me is if I knew I was irritating one of my neighbors that bad I would try to appease them and get some resolve. Live and let live but don't interfere with other peoples lives.

Don't you know LT..............your neighbors are the only ones that matter. At least, according to them.
